 Woman threatens medical office staff after phone call disconnects: Beachwood police blotter

BEACHWOOD, Ohio — Menacing: Mercantile Road

At 4:30 p.m. May 28, police were called to University Hospitals Beachwood Primary Care, 23250 Mercantile Road, where employees reported that they had been threatened by a patient.

The patient, a Shaker Heights woman, 20, reportedly called the office to get directions. That call was disconnected, which angered the woman. The woman found the office and when she entered, she was verbally abusive and threatened staff members with physical harm. Police investigated and did not charge the woman.
