 Police Reports: Winnetkan loses thousands of dollars in fake police phone scam, more

These reports were pulled from police summaries provided by departments in our coverage area (Wilmette, Winnetka, Northfield, Kenilworth and Glencoe) during the week of Sunday-Saturday, June 13-19.

Wilmette

There were six incidents of Illinois Department of Employment Services fraud filed between June 11-18 in Wilmette.

June 15

• An unknown offender spray-painted graffiti on the exterior of a garage in the 200 block of Thelin Court.

June 14

• A part was stolen off a vehicle in a parking lot in the 700 block of Hibbard Road.

June 13

• A bike was reported stolen from a backyard in the 400 block of Ridge Road.

June 6
