Gardai have issued a warning to the public about a sneaky scam that is going around at the moment.

Phishing scams have become very common of late and people are urged to use caution when conducting their business online.

Online banking has become a massive target for fraudsters in recent months with major companies such as AIB and Revolut issuing a number of warnings to customers about sophisticated scams.

Gardai are now warning of the latest simple yet sneaky scam that could easily catch someone out.

The tiny difference in the two links is with the letter ‘a’ in each link which is slightly different a detail easily missed by many.
