Local automotive students soon will benefit from a donation to state community colleges by Toyota Motor Manufacturing of Kentucky.
The company donated two cars to automotive technology programs at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College.
According to a news release, the vehicles are a 2020 Avalon and a 2019 RAV4 Hybrid and will provide ECTC students the opportunity to learn the latest technology in the automotive world.
“ECTC would not have been able to purchase vehicles as frequently as needed to keep up with technology, so Toyota’s donations ensure students are at the forefront in the automotive field,” according to the release.
